With only 2 people available for this investigation we took the opportunity to take photographs both on and from Andressey Island during daylight hours, as well as recording the perimeter of the island using GPS technology. Although the photographs have revealed nothing of any significance, we were amazed to note that on leaving the bridge onto an area of the island known as the Cherry Orchard the GPS receiver reported that it was no longer in sight of any satellites. Several attempts were made to try and re-establish contact with the satellites, but all were in vain. Upon reaching the bridge to cross back over the River Trent, as if by magic, the GPS receiver reported it could now see a total of eight satellites. We will try once again to get GPS readings from this area of the island in future weeks.

Since one of our investigations per week have taken place during the Burton-on-Trent Ghost walk it has in the past been almost impossible to take still photographs. This is because most of the walk takes place on open streets and roads, meaning that it would be irresponsible as the flash of the camera could temporarily blind motorists. |
