| Ye Olde Trip to Jerusalem dates back to the year 1240 AD and is located at the foot of Nottingham Castle, with much of the fabric of the building cut out from the rock. | ||||
|
Above the bar In the Rock Lounge, mounted in a glass cabinet, is the cursed galleon, which is covered in what appears to be 50 years of dust and cobwebs.

Also within the Rock Lounge is a clock, which was once reported by a medium to contain two evil spirits. | |||
| The cellars are carved out from the soft rock and have been in use since at least the Norman Conquest and are formed like interconnecting caves. | ||||

||||
| On the far side of the cellars a doorway is cut into the rock wall. This is said to be the condemned cell for the castle prison. | ||||
| In one chamber in the
cellars a horseshoe shaped bench has been cut into the rock around the
walls; this is thought to have been a cockfighting pit. |
